The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Lucius AB, a Swedish company with organisation number 559087-8038 (“we”, “us”), the operator of AlmostWed. By creating an account you accept these terms.
The service
AlmostWed is a wedding planning workspace: guest lists, RSVPs, budget, seating, checklist, day timeline and a public wedding website. We continuously improve the service, which means features may be added, changed or refined over time.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Free trial
Every new wedding workspace includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment details are required to start. When the trial ends, the workspace is paused — nothing is deleted — until access is unlocked.
Payment
Full access costs $49 as a single payment per wedding. It is not a subscription and never renews. The payment covers your planning, the wedding day itself and continued access afterwards, including new features as they ship, for as long as we operate the service.
Prices may change for future purchases, but a payment you have already made is never affected. Applicable taxes (such as VAT) may be added depending on where you live.
Right of withdrawal
As an EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because you get immediate access to the full digital service when you pay, you consent to the service beginning right away. If you change your mind within 14 days of payment and you’re unhappy, email us at [email protected] and we’ll sort out a refund.
Your content
Everything you add to AlmostWed — guest details, photos, text, plans — belongs to you. You give us the limited licence we need to store it, display it back to you and, where you choose to publish a wedding website, show it to your guests. We don’t use your content for anything else.
You are responsible for the content you add, including making sure you may share the guest information you enter, and that anything you publish on your wedding website is lawful and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful or to harm others
- Attempt to breach, probe or circumvent our security
- Scrape, resell or systematically extract data from the service
- Upload malicious code or content
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep AlmostWed fast and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. We recommend keeping copies of critical information (like final guest counts) close to your wedding day. If we ever decide to discontinue the service, we will give paid users reasonable notice and the opportunity to export their data.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability and governing law) survive termination.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are resolved by Swedish courts, though as a consumer you keep the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform or contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
